My "X" Hometown (Individual)
Students were required to make a pamphlet about their hometown in which they had to recall, study or revisit their hometown to visualise the environment, built components, social and culture through tangible and intangible components. A specific area of the hometown needed to be chosen and studied in detail.
Firstly, the background and history of township, significant components and accessibility to the township had to be studied. Students needed to draw the map of township as reference.
Secondly, the built components were needed to be elaborated in the selected area of township. The favourite part of students had to be identified too.
As a conclusion, ideas of improvement had to be suggested based on the related issues.
FINAL OUTCOME
REFLECTION
Through this assignment, I had a better understanding about my hometown. I found some places that i had never been there before which let me appreciate more about it. I wish I could go back to my hometown more frequently during holidays.
Besides, I hope that my hometown can be developed to become more advanced. Its originality and uniqueness must be kept so that it will have its own characteristics that were different from the other city.
